Important notice about directions
21 September to 18 December 2026 (expected)
Due to road construction works, the L 3086 between the Sperrmauer (Eder dam) and Hemfurth-Edersee is fully closed.
During this time, our hotel is reachable from only one side: via Waldeck.
Please do not take the direct route via Affoldern / Hemfurth along the lake: navigation systems often still direct you onto the closed road there.
Getting here by car
Please travel via Waldeck / Lake Waldeck to the Sperrmauer (Eder dam), east side.
Address: Randstraße 4, 34549 Edertal-Hemfurth
Parking directly at the hotel remains available and free of charge.
Getting here by bus or train
Please let us know your arrival time and stop in good time.
We are happy to pick you up.
The stop in front of the hotel is called: Edertal-Hemfurth Sperrmauer Ostseite (Linie 510).

You can easily reach Terrassenhotel Edertal by car, bus or bike. Free parking is available right at the hotel, together with a lockable bike storage room. Bus line 510 from Frankfurter Oder main station stops at Hemfurth-Edersee. Guests arriving by boat will find a dedicated mooring directly in front of the hotel.
