Our story
Hosts on the eastern shore
The Terrassenhotel was already a tourist destination during the Weimar Republic. Since 1931/1932, we have welcomed guests at one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Edersee - right next to the dam, overlooking the lake, the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and the surrounding hills. Over the decades the old lakeside inn has grown into a modern hotel with restaurant, panorama bar, service terrace and beer garden - what has stayed is our love of detail, regional cuisine and our guests.
